
FAQ & Terms
Availability: Weekends are booking approximately 2-3 months in advance. You are encouraged to book your order as soon as you secure a date for your event. A 50% deposit is required to book your order.

Pricing: All prices depend on the size, detail and amount of work needed to create your custom order. Cakes start at $5 & up per serving for buttercream cakes and $8 & up for fondant cakes. Our minimum order is $100.

Deposits: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book your order. Due to the small size of our cake shop, we are limited to the number of orders we can create per week. If you know the date of your event but do not know what you want to order, a $100 deposit is required to secure your spot.
Quotes: To receive a custom quote, please fill out our form on the Contact Page with the following information:

2) Number of Servings
3) Ideas or sample photos
Final Payments: All final payments are due 7 days before your event (45 days for orders over $400). If the balance remains unpaid by the due date, late fees will be assessed and/or your order may be canceled. Please communicate any issues that may arise.

Cancellation Policy: SteffyCakes is a small, home-based cake shop and we are only able to take a very limited number of orders per week. We must often decline other orders in order to secure your order, therefore, refunds are not provided for any reason. If your entire order is not paid by the due date, your order will be canceled due to non-payment. There are no partial order cancellations or refunds.

Picking Up Your Order: SteffyCakes is located on the North East side of San Antonio, Texas. The pick-up address will be provided at the time your order is placed (Zip Code 78239). Please notify SteffyCakes of your preferred pick-up time at least 1 week prior to your event date. If no time is provided, the default time will be 12:00 pm noon. If you are unable to pick-up your order at the agreed upon time, your pick-up may be defaulted to SteffyCakes availability on that particular day. In most instances delivery can be added with a few hours notice.

Caring for Your Order: SteffyCakes is not liable for any damage to your order once you order has been delivered or picked up. Please notify SteffyCakes at the time of delivery/drop-off of any issues or concerns. If you are transporting your cake, please prepare your vehicle so it is clean and free of items that could roll or slide into you order. Do not place your cake on an unlevel or heated seats. We do everything in our power to provide a well-structured cake and securely packaged treats but please note these items are very fragile and break easily. Drive carefully, slowly and do not brake suddenly. Cakes will melt if exposed to direct sunlight or heat. Delivery is always recommended for cakes with 3 or more tiers.

Delivery: The convenience of delivery can be added to any order at the time your order is placed. There is a $20 minimum delivery fee. All delivery fees are calculated based on day of the week, location, delivery time & traffic.

Food Allergies: SteffyCakes does not operate in an allergen-free kitchen. Eggs, nuts, wheat, berries and dairy may come into contact with your order. All orders are made in a home-based kitchen and we are not inspected by the Department of State Health Services or local health department. We are licensed food handlers as required by Texas Law.
